Jillu wanted to go to temple all of a sudden and I said, why not ? lets go!
So, out came my bike and we were on our way ! Out of the blue, madam says "Stop" and "I want to walk" in Tamil.
Me : illa da. Konjam dhooram. Jillu ku kaal valikkum (Its a bit far and your legs will pain)
Jillu : Ammaam. Unakkum kaal valikkum. (yes, Your legs will pain as well)
Me : Yenakku vallikaadhu (My legs wont be in pain)
Jillu : hey, chummaa sollaadhe. valikkum (hey, dont say just like that. It will pain for you as well)
Me: Unaaku dhaan daa valikkum. nee chinnavo illa. unakku dhaan valikum. (No da. Only you will be in pain as you are still a little girl)
Jillu : Ammaam, nee chinnaa aaana udane, unakkum valikkum (Yes, it will pain for you also when you become little!)
Me : ??? LOL :)

Reasoning - 2

I was carrying Jillu in my arms (like how we carry a baby) yesterday and generally fooling around and playing with her :). 

Then i asked her,

Shall i drop you down ?

Jillu : ahaan...(means no)

Me : yen ? keezhe podarene....dhop podarene (why ? let me drop you on the floor)

Jillu : Jillu paaavam la... avo paaavam la

Me : appidiyaa ? yen poda koodaadhu ?

Jillu : dhop uzhundhaa uvaa varum (will get hurt if you drop me !)

A couple of days back, Jillu was generally creating a ruckus in the morning when her dad was about to leave for office. So, to distract her and make her listen, I said "Appa kilambiyaachu. Office poyaachu". (Appa has left for work)

Jillu immediately did a cursory check in all directions to see if she could spot him from where she stood then and when she could not find him, immediately went to the hall, peeped out into the veranda, and said " Appa innum pogala. inga dhaan irukkaa". (He has not left. He is here!)

Any guesses? 

She had just checked for the presence of his slippers in the veranda.

Reasoning

First it was the Denials, then on to Counter arguments. Now the reasoning has started.

This morning's conversation with Appa is a clear indication of that.

After giving Jillu her milk, I was making coffee. She saw that and immediately went to her Appa, who was still not yet quite awake

Jillu :Appa, copi chaapadriyaa appaa ? (Appa, will you drink Coffee?)

Appa : Ok..nee kudu yenakku (Ok. Give me) 

Jillu : Amma kudupaa (Amma will give it to you) 

Appa : Nee poi kondu vaa (You bring the coffee to me) 

Jillu : Naa kondu vandhaa kottidum pa (If I bring, the coffee will spill)
